The Birth of a Church: Sanghar

Shahzaib is the newest member of the Reach the Nations church planting team in Pakistan. He and his wife, Anita, are both working in the city of Shanghar, a predominately Hindu area, to bring the good news of the Gospel and to establish a church there.

The have begun by going door to door in the area visiting families, praying for the sick, and blessing them with words of encouragement.

They now have a group that meets weekly with Anita leading the singing and worship and with Shahzaib preaching and teaching.

Shahzaib has also started a Bible study group for the youth of the area and will give us an update on that effort as it progresses.

Please pray for these new believers and this fledging congregation

• that they would grow in their faith and in their understanding of God's Word,

• that they would be bold to share their faith with others who need to hear, and

• that they would experience God's blessing in their lives as they walk with him in obedience.
