Teaching Truth in Daska

Mehboob is sharing from the Word of God in this gathering for prayer in Daska. Many of the men in Daska work in the fields and, as it is harvest time, they are putting in long days, sometimes sleeping near their fields, so they have not been able to attend meetings.

Though Mehboob visits other areas, Daska is his primary focus as he seeks to establish a church there. In the pictures shown, they are meeting in a home, but Mehboob is looking forward to better weather so they once again can move to their outdoor meeting space. Here is how he describes it, ". . . we arrange our prayer meetings on the roofs under the open sky and without walls."

His most recent teaching has been about the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He encourages himself and others to wait for the direction of the Holy Spirit and then to obey what the Spirit says to do.

Pray for the families in Daska as they await the return of the men from the fields and pray for the husbands, sons, and fathers who are grateful for work to support their families.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." - Colossians 3:23-24
