Sharing the Message in Old Ways and New

Here you see Rustam teaching children and using simple graphics to illustrate the point he is making. They listen and he points to the portions of the picture to keep their attention. It works and the children learn.

But, in addition to the traditional ways, there are new ways of teaching, too. This picture shows an open Bible for those who can read the Word of God on their own. But on top of the Bible are memory cards that can be inserted in any smart phone. On those cards the Bible is offered in the Sindhi and Marwari languages of Sindh Province.

The RTN team distributed 50 of these memory cards in December so those who have phones can listen to Scripture and worship songs in their own language wherever they go. This is a great blessing to those who cannot read or do not have access to a printed Bible.

We are thankful for both the old and new ways of teaching the Bible and Rustam and Shakeel are happy to use them both.

He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.” - Matthew 13:52
