Reporting from Punjab

Message from Mehboob: "Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to all RTN family members. We are fine here by the grace of God and hope you are also."

He and Adnan and Irfan have been ministering in various places in Punjab in recent weeks. Irfan and Mehboob's focus is on Daska, where they are in the process of teaching to establish a core group of committed believers so a church can be established there.

Irfan has completed his CLTI training and, with that as a foundation, he is better able to teach those who come to learn.

During the month of June they also visited some of the surrounding villages to teach, worship, pray, and encourage.

The people in these areas are working in the fields during the day, so the meetings are usually held in the evening when they return home.

Adnan continues in his role as pastor of the church at DhamoKay, a church which continues to flourish in their music, worship, teaching, and children's programs.

This month the teaching emphasis for the entire team was on the Holy Spirit - his coming at Pentecost (Acts 2) and his role as helper (John 14).

Mehboob reports that weather is very hot in Pakistan this time of year, and there is no electricity most of the time so there is no relief even for those who have fans or other means of cooling. And the electrical grid failures make all of life difficult including communication. So please pray for our teams as they have to face these obstacles every day.
