Focusing on Jesus

Mehboob (above) shares the Word of God in Bobakanwala, teaching about living by faith. He comments: "As we visit these areas, we share the word of God to give them hope and increase their faith, but always our central attention is on our Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified for our sins to give us free salvation."

Adnan preached to the people of Darwashkay and DhamoKay on the need for repentance in order to receive salvation. During the month of June, four people gave their lives to Christ and were baptized in testimony of their commitment to live their lives following Him.

The people in Daska are living in poverty. The men of this area work as day laborers and their wives are working as maids. Irfan taught about the Foolish Rich Man (from Luke 12), reminding his listeners to be thankful to God for what He has given.

In the picture above, Adnan teaches about the love of God in the area of Bajle Mohallah. Mehboob tells us, "These families are very poor and they work as labor in different types of fields. But, thanks be to God, when we hold a prayer meeting there, they gather and join in worshiping God in Jesus Christ."

In Propenagara, where fewer than 1/2% of the people are Christian, Mehboob encouraged faithfulness. He says, "The people of this area are financially poor, but rich in faith and faithful in God."

He goes on to say, "People are thankful to God for our regular visits when we worship together and sharing the Word of God. Some of them shared their testimonies of how God has changed their lives through salvation in Jesus." For that, we all give thanks to God!
