Celebrating in Punjab

Mehboob and Irfan have been working diligently to establish a church in Daska. People come, but have had to meet in the open air because there is no building available for their use. They decided to make this Christmas special.

The Reach the Nations team used their own money to rent a tent which they put up and decorated so the people in Daska would feel welcomed, and could have a festive and meaningful celebration of Jesus' birth.

There was a children's program with carols and praises.

Mehboob preached from the Gospels about the coming of Jesus, Immanuel, God with us.

There was a cake cutting ceremony and gifts for the children.

Irfan and Mehboob also held much smaller celebrations and services in some of the outlying areas during the month of December, a special time of inviting new people to come in and be blessed and served.

Please pray that some of those who came to these celebrations would return for more teaching and that many would commit their lives to following Jesus.
