Bringing Light
We have told you before about Manzoor Masih who serves on the Reach the Nations leadership team and resides in Islamabad. He also serves his government as a member of the National Commission on Human Rights (NCHR). We'd like to give you a short update on the work Manzoor has been involved in in recent months.
The picture below shows Manzoor meeting with a delegation of Salvation Army Pakistan (Church) headed by Col. MacDonald Chandi. They met to discuss various issues faced by minorities in Pakistan.
The next picture shows Manzoor at an Access to Justice Conference which met to assess aspects of the legal system on behalf of religious minorities in Pakistan.
The photo below shows Manzoor meeting with the Executive Director of PIMS Hospital to discuss issues including recycling of hazardous materials and providing protection from harassment on behalf of families served by the hospital.
Most recently Manzoor was invited by Senator Kamran Michael to attend the Pakistan Christian Council International Program at Ramada Hotel Islamabad.
Wherever we live and serve, there are places that are dark, places that need the light of truth and love. We appreciate our brother in Christ and the work of the NCHR in bringing that light where and when needed. Please pray for Manzoor and all the members of this team.
"In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." -
John 1:4-5
