A Village is Born

Rustam and Shakeel have been ministering for some time in Korki, sharing the gospel and teaching God's Word.

Now there are several families there who have had to move from property they had lived on for many years. They have joined together, purchased a parcel of land, and created a new village.

They are presently building new houses. Shakeel (far right) and Rustam (next to Shakeel) are shown here with one of the families and their new home under construction.

The picture above is of another family. The mother has her face covered because some of the women do not like to be photographed.

Their need now is for latrines, and Rustam and Shakeel are trying to help them meet that need.

Pray for these people who have been uprooted, but who are making a fresh start in a new place. God is blessing his people.

“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him” - Psalm 40:3
