A Message of Encouragement

Jiskani:

The visit to Jiskani was a first for Reach the Nations, but Shakeel went because people there had asked him to come. Jiskani was greatly affected by last year’s flooding and the residents are still recovering from their losses.

Shakeel shared about the loving and merciful God who is with them I hard times. “I encouraged them to build their house on a rock on the earth and also we should build our strong faith like a house on a Rock,” said Shakeel.

There are many people in this village with great needs, but Shakeel says, “We believe that when we ask anything in our prayers, God answers and bring restoration and blessings.”

Kotri:

Shakeel’s wife Benish joined him in a visit to Kotri where they spent some time interacting with and teaching the children, and Benish spent some relational time with the women who attended.

Because they were there on Father’s Day, there was a celebration to honor fathers.

In Hyderabad, Shakeel was presented with flowers, a Pakistani way of showing special honor. Of this, Shakeel says, “I was really blessed by this act from the people because they have given me the honor for being with them and teaching and preaching to them.”
