A Busy Month for the Sindh Team
Shakeel and Rustam ministered in January in the villages of Kumb, Pacca Chang, Pir Bhudro, and Haji Ata Hussain. Travel was made harder by days of fog, but Shakeel thanks God they were able to
arrive safely at each village.
Both Rustam and Shakeel shared from the word of God in these villages. Shakeel is involved in a Reach the Nations online Bible study on the book of Romans, so the teaching this month was taken from what he is learning in that study. This month's focus was on Romans 10:5-13. The two pictures below are from Kumb.
And this one is from Pacca Chang:
In Pir Bhudro a man who is not a Christian, but is showing interest in the things of God and the teaching from the Bible, attended the meeting. Afterwards, he invited Rustam and Shakeel to his home so they could pray with his family. One of the family members was demon-possessed. Rustam and Bhutta returned to Pir Bhudro later and prayed for the man who has now been released from the power of the demon. Please pray for this family that they will soon see the truth of what they are hearing and seeing and will accept Jesus as Lord.
Haji Ata Hussain was a new village for the Sindh team. The meeting was held at night, so the pictures are dark, but we will share one anyway.
At that meeting, a Muslim man asked Shakeel and Rustam to pray that he and his wife would be able to have a child. Shakeel says, "So, by faith, we prayed for them."
God is opening eyes and hearts in these remote, mostly Hindu-background, villages. Please keep praying for Shakeel and Rustam as they minister.
