Ministering at a Dangerous Time
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. - Psalm 91:1-3
Mehboob reports that the coronavirus is raging in Punjab, but, in spite of the risk, he, Adnan and Irfan have felt it necessary to go to the villages and hold small-group prayer meetings among the people.
Mehboob and his team have witnessed many deaths due to the virus. The people to whom they minister are living in fear and are needing the comfort of God's presence.
Here Mehboob, Irfan, and Adnan taught from Psalm 91, bringing reassurance of God's care for His people even in times of great stress. After the teaching, they prayed together for the end of the coronavirus, for those who are sick, and for the ongoing ministry of Reach the Nations.
Here's more from Mehboob's report:
"In these days, we are giving hope and increasing faith to the families because many of them are feeling fear and hopelessness when they hear news of the many deaths due to coronavirus.
"But, thanks to God, when we share the Word of God with them, they feel comforted in their heart and life."
He goes on to say, "Many people are giving special thanks for the people of God who have supported them with food during this difficult time of coronavirus.
"Adnan, Irfan, I, and our families are also especially thankful first to Almighty God Father, Son and Holy Spirit and, second, to the respectable family of Reach the Nations who care for God's people not only with a spiritual diet but also with a physical diet in a time of great need."
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10b
